RUPD's Citizens Police Academy to begin in January

The Rice University Police Department (RUPD) has scheduled its sixth Citizens Police Academy for Jan. 25-April 19. Each Monday from 6 to 9 p.m., the academy will meet at RUPD's Law Enforcement Training Center, where participants will learn about training, communications, criminal investigations, alcohol and drugs, firearms safety, patrol and tactical operations and more.
