'Water for Elephants' Rice Readers' next book selection

Rice Readers will discuss "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen at noon Dec. 2 at Brochstein Pavilion.

Set during the Great Depression, "Water for Elephants" tells the story of a young man who abandons his life as a Cornell University veterinary student after losing both his parents in a car accident and jumps onto a train that happens to house the Benzini Brothers circus.
