REMS Awarded as Outstanding Agency

The Rice University Emergency Medical Service (REMS) team was selected as the 1999-2000 Outstanding Collegiate EMS Organization. The Rice EMS received the designation at the annual National Collegiate EMS Foundation (NCEMSF) conference held Feb. 11 through 13 in Delaware.

The award is presented to one collegiate EMS agency—out of about 150 programs—that NCEMSF leaders feel has demonstrated outstanding service to its campus. On hand to receive the award were REMS Capt. Clay Juckett, Lt. Christine Borgstrom and senior member Sean Joyce.
