The Houston Business Journal's "Best Place to Work" survey for 2007 needs your responses.

Rice employees who complete the survey online before the May 4 deadline can help Rice University repeat its selection as one of Houston’s top employers.

“Last year, thanks to a strong showing from the Rice community, Rice University was included on the Houston Business Journal’s Best Place to Work list,” said Mary Cronin, associate vice president for human resources.  “I encourage all employees to once again participate in this survey, which helps Rice by shining a bright light on our great campus work environment and by providing information that we use to improve that environment.”

Among the changes resulting from last year’s input were the implementation of presidential town hall meetings, the Rice classified ads and the Whitaker Scholars program.

To fill out the survey, visit <http://www.qmrinc.com/bestplaces> and type in QRFJ25208 for Rice University’s access code. Your input is confidential.

Rice will receive a summary of employee feedback when the Houston Business Journal announces the results June 15.
