Rice's Center for Education honored K-12 teachers in the School Science and Technology program

On May 16, Rice's Center for Education honored K-12 teachers who participated in School Science and Technology, a partnership between Rice and the Houston Independent School District (HISD) to update and upgrade science teaching.

As part of the event, the teachers demonstrated the model science labs and teaching tools they acquired from the program. Mayor Bill White honored the teachers with the keynote address.
